A Place in the Sun LIve shows appetite for Spanish property ownership is alive and well.
We are just back from A Place in the Sun LIVE which took place at the NEC, Birmingham this last Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
We have been exhibiting at these shows for over 10 years, in all the large cities across the UK. But seldom has there been one where the level of interest and busyness has been sustained, almost non-stop for the whole three days.
It’s hard to put your finger on exactly why this show was such a busy one. The conversations we had some common threads to them. One of which was that the outlook for the UK was not great, and people were getting on with their plans rather than sitting and waiting, with the prospects for the country getting worse before they got any better. Certainly the interest in relocating permanently was very strong.
People’s knowledge of the visa options open to them is impressive; clearly many have done their research. But they still need support with elements of the application given the unfamiliarity with the language and Spanish system.
A big thanks to the event organisers
With such an encouraging three days, it is only right to acknowledge the work of Andy Bridge and his team at APITS who work so hard delivering a show that runs like clockwork attended by, in this case, over 5,200 people. Thank you!
Finally…
For those of us associated with A Place in the Sun over the years, it was brilliant to see Jasmine and Jonnie sharing the sofa on The Hub. Their passion and knowledge for overseas property ownership shines through. They’re quite a double act and likely the highlight of many people’s visit.
As always, we are available to chat about all things Spanish property and residency. Simply drop us an email at admin@sun-lawyers.com
